Launching a Restaurant Brand on a Tight Timeline

Matt and Heather McQueeny were preparing to open a breakfast, brunch, and lunch spot in Shawnee, Kansas. As new owners, they needed to move fast.

They did not have months to figure out branding. They had weeks.

The Challenge

Before opening their doors, they needed:

  • A clear brand identity

  • A logo system that could be used everywhere

  • Consistency across signage, menus, and marketing

The Approach

I partnered with them to guide the full brand process quickly and efficiently.

The work included:

  • Logo design and overall brand look and feel

  • Primary and secondary logo versions

  • A standalone brand mark

  • Brand guidelines to ensure consistency

The focus was clarity, not overthinking.

The Results

Rize N Shine opened with a cohesive brand that felt polished, welcoming, and intentional. The brand gave them confidence going into launch and a strong foundation for future growth.
